It is unkind You cannot successfully start or break in a Horse if the Teeth aren’t in top shape. If you try, you will NEVER get a top Mouth due to the pain attached to the Mouthing process and the learned resistance taught. There are many reasons why Horses are resistant to the Bit but I will also rank them in order of the reason for cause. The most prolific at the top. LETTER “So sorry to ask 2 questions of you in one day… this one is quick! I went to get a market harboroughtoday, and saw some Draw Reins. (Page 8 of the catalogue attached in case you need picture. It buckles to the girth then goes straight through the bit and to my hands.
