PURCHASING THE DRESSAGE HORSE

November 6, 2013

I have to a lot of Dressage Days, Club, State and National and the one thing that I notice and wonder about, is that the majority of all Riders are sitting on Horses that are less than SUITABLE for Dressage and many that can’t go on in Dressage. Further, this lack of education within the Industry, on how to buy Horses that are ‘fit for purpose’ condemns many of our Friends to a Life of Hell and of course the Owners to disappointment and frustration. How would you like being made to enter the Sydney to Surf if you […]

CROOKED VIDEO PRODUCTION

November 6, 2013

HORSES FOR SALE VIDEO CLIPS Yes, they are all the rage and everyone’s a Hollywood Producer. Billy Joel in ‘Piano Man’ said something like “There’s Paul at the Bar, he is a ‘REAL ESTATE NOVELIST” and so it is that many of the Horse Sales Video’s have become Hollywood Productions, with many interesting yet not seen by the Multitudes, techniques.   I recently started Horse Purchase Assessments…..after attempting to educate through Facebook with my Quiz of the Week and getting attacked. We have now assessed 6 Potential Purchases, ranging from $$5,500 to $25,000 and found 5 out of […]

BUYING A HORSE. EVERY SCAM, EVERY TRICK

November 6, 2013

2017 It has become very dangerous to buy from Professional Riders’, Coaches, Olympic People, EA Officials and others. To many of them have been found to not do the right thing   It’s a sad Day when one has to say that but 2017 saw People ripped off by dozens of Professional Equestrian Australia Coaches and Olympic Representatives. Don’t You be one!! and   DON’T BUY AT AUCTIONS. You have only a 10% CHANCE OF a genuine Horse!!! Go here 20/12/17           I appologize for the length of this and it could run for 100 […]

RISK MANAGEMENT & THE LAW

November 6, 2013

Since this Site Pioneered Horselaw in this Country, 18Years ago, many things have improved but they still have a long way to go.   I coined this quote.   “Horsemanship – the Art of reading the future, with ‘Risk Management’ in Mind”   25th Nov, 2017   Here we are, last Saturday, Dressage……     The Trailer Car Park is not the place to re-educate an 18 Hands Warmblood that is threating to Bolt!!!!!   Equestrian Australia has failed in Risk Management Education and failed on upholding the worthless ‘Code of Ethics” Since September 11th, Risk Management Insurance […]

This Website pioneered all Horselaw activities in this Country and injected the first Lawyers into it. Victoria and NSW South Australia and Queensland. There were no dedicated Horse Lawyers, with Horse Experience. Prior, there was no such thing as complaining to a Court about a Crooked Horse Dealer.!!!. HP’s Blog for Sunday 25th March, 2018

Sunday 25th March, 2018 Hi Folks. Hope You all had a good Week. Mrs. HP has had the whip out this Week and I have been riding a Bobcat that we hired, to trick up her Horse Yards before the wet, put new base in them, spread the composted manure and seed, remove all the Tree stumps out of the Foals Paddock and re-sand Her arena, amongst other things. She's a Happy Girl! 🙂
