LOCAL BUSINESS OF THE WEEK

We finally got our Solar sorted out, thanks to a lovely Guy and Apprentice, at Encounter Bay and I can thoroughly recommend them for any Electrical work you may have coming up.

We were left in the lurch by the Solar Company. I don’t know what it is with these big Companies these Days but they treat their clients as though we need them, not the other way around!! Incredible 🤬 So don’t deal with Sky Energy from Victoria.

Yes Brian, I agree. Here are some of the observations:

• The Starter has NO IDEA what a CONTACT is and should never be asked either. It follows, that requesting a Contact, prior to riding, is unfair.
  
• The Ropes are too heavy imho, for the Ropes are replacing the Trainer and dictating themselves, a CONTACT, even though there should not be.
  
• the CONTACT blocks all SOPHISTICATION in Training and automatically brings the end result back from a 10, to an auto 6/10
  
• Then there is the ENGINE ROOM of all training. “Reward and Relief’ If this doesn’t come 100 times per session, one hasn’t applied ‘justice’ in training and without that, one cannot have complete ‘UNDERSTANDING and in the end, TRUE UNITY and a PARTNERSHIP. I could go on…….

Now here is how “Attitude, Partnership, proudness, offering and all the rest, comes from the best systems.

Hi Folks. Hope You had a lovely week. Busy as always, with yet another definitely not boring Week for us 😁

FACEBOOK

In Court against them this Week, for the first directions hearing and they were represented by an Adelaide Lawyer even though they have a top Law Firm from Melbourne acting. They applied to have the matter struck out on the grounds that I had sued FACEBOOK but I should have sued META. I argued that this is not entirely clear, that they both hide all from their Clients and I will be bringing arguments to the contrary. The Magistrate sided with me. Facebook then requested the Courts permission, to have Lawyers representing them, even though they are not eligible, because I have sued them for the Small Claims Division, where Lawyers are not allowed. I agreed with the Court, that they can have their Lawyers, not a problem and so it was passed. So it was adjourned until 15th July, for they have to get Lawyers approved and organized from America. I can’t wait 🙂 They have a shock coming 🙂 Young Mark will be pleased. 😊

The Peoples Bank

We have been through Hell, after being de-banked by our Bank, immediately after refusing to allow a large Building to be built on Gainsborough…you know the one’s, with the loud speakers on the roof???

During the past Years, all sorts of attempts have been made, via the Bank, to break us, to assist a Developer. We caught them ‘red handed’ As a result, this happened.

The independent review found significant deficiencies with Bendigo Bank’s approach to the identification, mitigation, and management of money laundering and terrorism financing risk.

“Bendigo Bank has taken a number of steps to improve its risk capability and strengthen its risk culture over the last 12 months; however, I recognise the need to intensify our focus and our efforts,” said Bendigo Bank CEO and Managing Director Richard Fennell. 😮

It never end either. Almost daily. We then had one of the State’s top Law Firms appear to want to assist us, but they too were a set up and in the camp of the developer. Consequently, his Wife, a Minister in the Government, has recently and quietly resigned, 3 weeks before the election. OMG Anyhow, chin up, life goes on, never let them get you down 🙂

FEEDBACK ON SA DRESSAGE

There has been quite a bit of support behind the scenes, with multiple people agreeing with what I said. Sadly, I see the demise of one lovely Club, which will be such a shame. A Rider was complaining about the cost of competing (forgetting the Capital cost) but the entries. She was saying that last month, she entered. 2 Tests 60 odd dollars…..BUT!!!!!…..surcharges for all sorts, on top, and the cost was 90 something dollars. No that is not acceptable and will rule many out in tough times as Albo breaks Australia 😓

UNFAIR ORGANIZATION

Now, don’t get me wrong, for we love those who organize Dressage Clubs and all the Volunteers, but I have one piece of advice, that comes with Justice for the Rider. I am sure you will understand but noone has thought about it.

There is a Rider, pointing out Today, the unfairness Her experience. She was unlucky enough to be on LAST, twice in the recent times, but each time, all Horses had disappeared and Volunteers were tearing down other Arenas, as she competed. Now she paid plenty for the privilage. Her Horse wonders where and why there are no horses here any more and has to also cope with the Horse Drama and INNATENTION and marked down, for NOT CONCENTRATING.

Come on Clubs, get your Committee Meetings thinking Business instead of inane subjects. $90 odd to ride, after giving all during the week training to win and impressm keep Hubby Happy, keep the funds flowing and much more. More thought needed!!!!!

UPDATE ON DRESSAGE JUDGING

Congrats to the SA Grand Prix Judge, alongside that dastardly WA Judge who “gives marks too freely” (quote in Gossip of the Day) for equaling the score. There is hope for us all now but watch out for those other SA Judges for you may be now accused of “giving marks too freely and making it hard” 🤣You will see who, just go check the Grand Prix!

GOSSIP OF THE DAY

South Australian Dressage Judge heard complaining at last comp at Mount Crawford, (Western Australian Judge present) that these Interstate Judges give away marks too freely and it is going to make it hard for us in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There You go Folks. It’s endemic!!!!! 😏

SAND COLIC

Thank you – I realized I’d also added oil to his diet about a week ago so could be that..I’ll skip that for a day or two and see. His stool was inconsistent prior to that.
I don’t see all of his manure as in a big paddock so I may have missed the sand? And/or can it take a few days to pass or usually pretty quick?

Hi Emily. Well done. The first time you introduce this preventative, you can bet the Horse has plenty of sand as most things on the market, don’t work. Do the horse again, a week later and then only, every 3 months if Land is questionable. I discovered that the 2 biggest Hospitals here, have used it when all else failed and saved dying horses. Tell you something real funny……recently, I had a phone call from a Vet at the University Hospital…..I answered……”Doctor O’Leary is it????”

I had to explain to Him that I am a Horseman, not a Doctor as such. He almost died 🤣

Hi Folks. Hope You had a lovely week. Busy as always, Mrs. HP is having trouble keeping up with the demand of Lessons and is soon going to have to work out what she can do for she is constantly having to neglect Her own Horses. Not made any easier of course, by this warm spell that we are experiencing right now, for we are not acclimatized to the Heat 🙂

I want to compliment this Business, where I took my F Truck for Wheel alignment and it came back detailed inside and out, with even the chrome wheels all cleaned!!! Thanks Folks.

I also couldn’t believe the Indian Folks with the Veggie Shop I have talking about. We know a certain Breed of Immigrant that WILL NEVER assimilate but here these Folks were Yesterday ON ANZAC DAY!!!!!…..putting on a FREE BARBY for all that came in or even walked by the Shop. Well done Folks

On the other end of the scale, this made my blood boil. We had FAKE NEWS 7, 9, 10 and 2, using a 5 second grab promoting a story about our Victoria Cross Soldier attending the March, but used it to keep people fixated on the News and not leave, but then went into a major story about the poor ISSIS BRIDES who are Australiians and are coming Home. The Anzacs died to protect this Country from these Bustuds and on Anzac Day of all times, you promote them along with the Treasonist Prime Minister who brought in 300,000 of such, last Months.

PREDICTION (and they always come true)

The time will come, when the “Night of the Long Knives” will take place, with the Males being killed and the Women raped. Indeed, a practice threat run was conducted in Holland, yesterday, with the Public running for their lives, from 20 or so Immigrants, with Machettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Thoughts for my Dad on Anzac Day, the ‘Personal Horse Escort’ for the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, WW2, General William Blamey.

Sadly, I am going to have to take on the sad subject of DRESSAGE JUDGING in this State, the last thing I need or want. Listen up Southern Vales Dressage Club and Adelaide Hills.

THE EQUESTRIAN INDUSTRY IS IN PERIL

As I said recently, after attending my first Comp in a while, the Industry is in deep trouble and now getting perilous. We used to see 30 in Prelim/Novice/Elementary and balloting. Now it’s 5 in a class. Why is it so?

• The rot set in a few Years ago when the ‘Old Biddies’ (serial pests) performed their ‘Power Struggle’ to keep control of the Industry, with the ‘Peter OBorne’ debacle and then two or three more after that. The same People, keep floating back to the top, to control all.
  
• They normally come with a profile. They ‘Can’t ride’, never competed and hold authoritarian positions.
  
• They normally come with a ‘Chip on their Shoulder’ and see performers as a threat to them. We personally have seen that many times throughout life and indeed this Year now again.

How it all started

Many Years ago, South Australia chose a Dutch Woman with big attitude, but couldn’t ride and had no clue. She controlled all for many Years and set the foundation stones of LOW DRESSAGE SCORING and many other negative things like protecting her position at all cost, against any up and coming ‘Rising Stars’, rather than embracing them and enlisting them. Here are just a couple of examples:

• Mrs. HP floated 2 Hours, to the Level 3 Coach Home. She was sitting for Her Level 1 Coaching accreditation. She had to take a Horse there……to perform LUNGING
  She lunged 10 laps to the right, then 10 laps to the left and got failed because there was one twist in the Lunge Line at the end.
  
• I am reminded, that things got even worse a couple of years later, when Linda was a Level 1, when one of Her Pupils, at a State Squad Lesson with the Level 3, standing her up and refusing to do what she was teaching, for in Her opinion, the Coach was wrong 🙂 That didn’t help Linda in the following few Years and may have contributed to the payback at the Level 2. All disgusting and bad for the Sport of course. That Youngster was Madam ==========================
  
• So she sat for Her Level 2 Exam at an indoor up in the Hills. Now the Rules state, that 2 Level 3 Coaches must adjudicate. So they brought across from Victoria, a Bloke I nick named “The Flaming Dick’, a serial pest.
  
  The SA Coach said to Him, “Leave Her to me and so he wandered down the other end of the Arena, where there were a bunch of Females. The SA Coach produced a Rider for Linda to teach and be marked on, only to have Linda announce shortly after commencing, that the HORSE WAS UNSOUND and later proven and confirmed as unsound. Linda Failed, even though the 3 Pupils she taught that Day, wrote Statutory Declarations, that Linda was great.
  
• Then there was the sad case of Linda breaking Her Leg, lying in the Royal Adelaide Hospital, awaiting the decision whether to cut it off or not. Another F.E.I. Dressage Judge visited Her on behalf of Equestrian SA, only to announce that they had just removed Her from the State Squad as her recovery was likely to be a long one and so the selectors decided it was appropriate to tell her in her most helpless state. Just what she needed right then ey?

DEPRESSED SA RIDERS

During the last few Months (without any prompting) Mrs. HP has noticed a distinct increase in depressed Riders, all complaining about the Judging, with some making noises about leaving the Industry, including 1 that has spent $150,000 this Year. All feeling down because of the Judging……….but then recently, 2 Riders were subjected to HORRENDOUS treatment, by an obviously psychotically challenged Judge, in a MOST DISGUSTING manner.

They had ridden past the Judges Car prior to entering and were stopped by the Judge. They were both told that they would be eliminated, for riding with an illegal Bit, because they were illegal!. How come they got through Gear check previously then? The Judge hadn’t got out and examined them.

After the test of at least one of them, she phoned the Gear Check person and told Her to eliminate the Horse.

I do hope this was not something about my Bits for litigation would have to follow if it were.

For the record, the Judge in question, came from the era of the ‘Big Fat Bits’ I collected a sample of them over the Years, for my Museum How would You like these in your Mouth????….’Gob Stoppers’ we used to call them 🙂 They were the reason, myself and the Myler Brothers in America, revolutionized Bits, for we ‘Listened to the Horses”

So these Riders are Pupils of Mrs. HP. One must wonder why??? but for all pupils, let me tell You a little story that will even things up in your mind. I’ve been around a long time and seen many things that I never spoke of but fair is fair so here is a …………

BLAST FROM THE PAST

I told You about Classes being full at 30 Riders, with balloting out for waiting lists in case of scratchings. Many of those comps were held at the old E.F.A. Park, in the North Parklands, opposite the Brewery. Wonderful venue.

Anyhow, between the Arenas and the Port Adelaide Train Track that runs past it, there is a roughly 20 metres wide stand of Trees and Bushes. Nothing better for a Country Boy like me for I could duck in for a leak and soak up nature and peace, at the same time. This particular Day, deep inside the Bushes, to my shock and the shock of a Grand Prix Rider who was about to compete, there she was, with the Horse, out of sight of all except now me, carrying out a Veterinary procedure with a Needle, on the Horse. Funny thing that for many years later, I saw another Grand Prix Rider who’s Horse was out of control in the warmup just inside the gate on the closest grounds at Strathalbyn. She suddenly got off, whipped the Horse out the front gate and went behind a House on the other side of the Road, with the Horse. They came back 5 minutes later, she re-mounted and the Horse was suddenly transformed and went wonderfully …….but I digress……..

TO THE DRESSAGE CLUB

A number of things need to happen:

• An apology to the Riders concerned.
• An investigation on who it is that should be controlling Bits, the Gear Check or the Judge?
• The Judges need to know the rules before making comment.
• Judges need to consider how they come across and look at their approach to riders especially just prior to riding their tests.
• Gear Checking should be done prior to riding a test like in years gone by, as this would eliminate this entire scenario. You don’t allow illegal anything past a Gear Check, let them ride and “aid and abet’ the Crime and then check them afterwards. This whole scenario is proof that the system is a fail. Who in the Hell dreamt this up??….a Scientist??

WARNING

The Clubs urgently need to have a long hard think about why the Sport is dying and make changes, or they won’t have a Sport any more!!!!!!! We are NOT playing for ‘Cattle Stations’ we are loving a Sport. Wake up!!!!! Your time is limited!!!

Hope you are well.  I purchased several HP bits several years ago with the re-biting equipment. We chatted about the strategies, which was very helpful. I must say that the results have been wonderful. The HP system worked wonders. And the HP design is by far the best in the industry. I’ve tried these bits with so many horses and they all respond immediately. They get softer, more relaxed, accepting the contact easily and respond with little or no rein aids.  Wonderful!  
I now have a few clients that want to purchase these bits but I don’t know whether you ship to the USA after the tariff wars started.
Please confirm. If you don’t, do you happen to know of a tack shop in the US that sells them?

anyhow, they had this special of a whole big carton of celery, for $5 and I made 26 Jars of Celery stock….what’s that work out to?…. yep, 19 cents a jar

We have come across a number of Horses that have been started recently, by a Trainer in the Adelaide Hill’s. They all have one thing in common. Lord knows what she is doing but it ain’t good!

They all are in fear of the Rider and RUNNING FROM THE RIDER.!! Be vigilant Folks. Your Horses rely upon You!

Now we started this in late 2025. We have done 11 Horses so far. All perfect and 2 winning already. Total 7 Hours approx and so less than $1,000 to have your Horse broken in. Better than 6 weeks and thousands, with no guarantee of what is happening to your Horse either. (this Year we have seen some concerning results.

Now ‘Young Mia’ is a big of a ‘Pigmy’, just like Her Mum and last time I advised Her to do Homework on getting the Horse to lower it’s Head for Bridling. Well done Young Lady!!!!!

The ‘Green Horse’ has no clue what a ‘rein contact’ means. One cannot stop a Bucker or a bolter, WITH 2 REINS!!!! Stay off their Mouths, UNTIL they are completely understanding of all leg aids, leg yield completely and forward as Hell. Only then, comes the 1st Day of ‘On the Bit’

You think you’re just eating “cheese”?

Think again.

90% of the American cheese on store shelves right now is made with a lab-engineered fake rennet called FPC — fermentation-produced chymosin.

And it was originally developed and patented by Pfizer in 1990. Yeah, that Pfizer.

Here’s how they did it: They took the gene for chymosin (the key clotting enzyme from a calf’s stomach), spliced it into Aspergillus Niger — black mold — using CRISPR gene-editing tech, then let the mold ferment in giant vats like some dystopian bio-reactor. The result? A synthetic enzyme that’s cheaper, faster, and more consistent than the real thing.

Big Food loved it. No more baby calves. No supply limits. Just endless, uniform cheese bricks rolling off the line. FDA called it “substantially equivalent” to real rennet and gave it GRAS status with zero long-term human safety studies — just a 90-day rat trial. Sound familiar?

The worst part? This stuff isn’t even listed properly.

On ingredient labels it hides behind vague wording:

• “enzymes”
• “microbial enzymes”
• “vegetarian rennet”
• or just plain “rennet”

And here’s where it gets insidious: Plenty of people are getting bloating, digestive distress, skin issues, or straight-up allergic reactions after eating cheese… and they blame “dairy.” But a growing number are realizing it’s not the milk — it’s the A. Niger residue or the GM process itself triggering the problem.

Real animal rennet? That’s the traditional calf-stomach enzyme our ancestors used for thousands of years. It works with your body. No hidden mold genes.

Want the real stuff?

How to actually avoid this garbage:

• Look for labels that specifically say “animal rennet” or “calf rennet”
• Skip anything that says “microbial,” “vegetarian,” or just “enzymes”
• Buy European imports, artisanal, or raw-milk cheeses (they still use the old-school stuff)
• Certified Organic or Non-GMO Project Verified is safer (many ban FPC outright)
• Best move: find a local cheesemaker who tells you exactly what they use

They turned one of the oldest, most nutrient-dense foods on earth into another ultra-processed Franken-food and hoped you’d never notice.

Stop eating their science experiment.

Your gut (and your ancestors) will thank you.
