This will be the last Week after 18 Years and several Thousand Blogs. I am going to concentrate on this side of things, which will give me more flexibility whilst not feeding all the experts.
THE OPPOSITE TO “LISTEN TO THE HORSES”

This is ultimate mis-guided assessment of a Horse. The Young Lady says this in part….
I don’t ride any more, stopped riding this mare in May 2012 (she was put on full loan, not my choice) and stopped riding completely in November due to a bad accident with my next share and lack of ride. *there’s a lot of comments about my reins and I know they’re short but I was more tense and nervous as time went on and I kept them short so I could stop her if she spooked/bolted, I worked really hard on my hands and position and by the end of it (not in the video, this was posted only just after I started lessons on her) things were a lot better, I was far more upright and everything was much safer! She behaved a lot better once I had learnt to relax and had done lunge lessons.* This horse was NOT lame, she was simply green, spooky and cheeky, as well as probably trying to make a point about my riding – I know my position was bad and I spent a lot of time working on it, it did eventually improve a lot and although in my first year of riding her there were a lot of accidents and about 8 falls, in the last 5 months I didn’t fall off once and we gained confidence together, and trust in each other.
So have a look at it and tell me what You see. $85 prize for the most accurate observation
WHEN TO NOT GO AND LOOK TO BUY
The Psychological profile is the first thing that I examine, when assessing a Horse for Purchase. The Human always shows their Hand…if You are wise enough.
Take a look at this Video
Take a look at the warning signs at 45 Seconds and 47 Seconds. The Horse CANNOT SUSTAIN a Head Carriage ( either unfit for the Purpose or Sacroiliac Damage, and then…….
at 57 Seconds, the true Horse is uncovered and…….
the Body Language and Guilt of the Camera Person tell it all. They both knew.
Walk away!!!!!
SEPERATION ANXIETY IN THE RACE HORSE
A huge percentage of these Horses, suffer from ‘Separation Anxiety‘ which is caused by the ‘Battery Hen’ existence amongst other things.
Whilst You can assist some of them, many are just too hard. Walk away or even better, don’t go there in the first Place. Assess the Purchase better.
HANDS
If You want to be blessed in this Game, try your Heart out, to develope good Hands and if You don’t have them, stay away from their Mouths and don’t attempt tricks.
